Berlin, Germany - In a snoozer, IBF/WBO #5, WBA #8 and WBC #11 rated cruiserweight Noel Gevor (23-1, 10 KOs) came back to get one in the win column after a boring ten-round unanimous decision over American Isiah Thomas (15-2, 6 KOs).

Both fighters were coming off the losses: Thomas lost a one-sided unanimous decision to then-world title challenger Michael Hunter, and Gevor fought on even terms with former two-time world champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk this May but lost a dubious split decision.

This time Gevor, 26, was at least willing to win, while Thomas, 28, was comfortable just to be there. He walked away from real fighting, staying ultimately defensive, concentrating solely on survival. It didn't help him to avoid a knockdown in round three, though it wasn't a real knockdown but a slip, after legs of both Gevor and Thomas crossed. Gevor lacked versatility and imagination to create problems to his negative opponent. All three judges scored the fight identically: 100-89 - for Noel Gevor.

---------------

Middleweight Patrick Wojcicki (10-0, 4 KOs) didn't impress in scoring an uneventful eight-round decision over awkward Frenchman Fouad El Massoudi (14-10, 1 KO). Had he been a world-class fighter, Wojcicki would have stopped El Massoudi inside the distance, despite awkwardness and unusual style of his opponent. Yet, the German slowly stalked the French fighter to limited succes and didn't punish him for fighting with his hands down. No scores were announced but BoxingScene had it 78-74 - for Wojcicki.

Super middleweight Denis Radovan scored a workmanlike unanimous decision over Yann Binanga Aboghe (6-2-1) of Gabon over six rounds. Radovan improves to 6-0, 2 KOs.

Two streaks continued in a fight between German super middleweight Leon Bunn, 25, and Polish 42-year old veteran Lukasz Gargula. Gargula (18-8-1, 8 KOs) lost his seventh fight in a row, while Bunn scored his sixth consecutive knockout in the same number of fights. This one was registered as a TKO in round five. Time was 2:00.

---------------

Russian super middleweight Evgueny Shvedenko scored his fifth win in a row, stopping Bosnian Nicola Matic (15-35, 11 KOs) within five rounds. Shvedenko improves his record to 5-0, 3 KOs.

Heavyweight prospect Albon Pervizaj recorded his fifth consecutive stoppage in the same number of fights, this time halting Czech journeyman Tomas Mrazek (10-67-6, 5 KOs) in the third round.

---------------

German light middleweight Nick Hanning improved his record to 2-0, 2 KOs, with the first-punch knockout of Czech Ondrej Schwarz (1-3-1, 1 KO). Time was 0:12 of the first round.

21-year old Danish featherweight Frederik Hede Jensen (2-0, 1 KO) got his second professional win with a unanimous decision over French Baska Tuvenhlagva (6-6-3, 3 KOs) in a scheduled four-rounder.
