According to Umar Kremlev, the General Secretary of the Russian Boxing Federation, they are loading up the undercard for the scheduled World Boxing Super Series final between cruiserweight champions Oleksandr Usyk and Murat Gassiev.

Usyk vs. Gassiev is scheduled to take place on July 21 at Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia. The WBC, WBO, WBA, IBF cruiserweight world titles will be at stake in the contest.

It has already been announced that Cecilia Braekhus will defend the WBO, IBO, IBF, WBA, WBC welterweight titles against undefeated local contender Inna Sagaydakovskaya.

Among the fighters expected to fight on the undercard - Russian boxers Fedor Chudinov, Roman Andreev, Konstantin Ponomarev, Denis Shafikov, and Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk.

"The undercard will feature Fedor Chudinov, Roman Andreev, Ponomarev, Denis Shafikov, Inna Sagaidakovskaya. They will have competitive fights, and the Ukrainian Bohachuk... he will also perform on the show," said Kremlev to Vasily Konov.

Chudinov (17-2, 12 KOs), a former WBA super middleweight world champion, has won three in a row since getting stopped in six rounds by George Groves in May of 2017 when the fought for the vacant WBA crown.

Andreev (21-0, 15 KOs) is rising up in the ranks and holds the WBO European lightweight title, which he captured in 2016 and already made three defenses of that belt.

Ponomarev (34-0, 13 KOs) is promoted by Top Rank and trained by Abel Sanchez. He was a top welterweight contender, but his last two fights have taken place two divisions above at the middleweight limit and he's been ranked at 154 by some of the sanctioning bodies.

Bohachuk (9-0, 9 KOs) is a junior middleweight knockout artists who resides in Big Bear, California and his entire career has played out in the United States.

Shafikov (39-4-1, 20 KOs) has challenged for the lightweight world title on three attempts. He recently moved down to super featherweight.
