Uriel "Yuca" Lopez was able to once again repeat the dose of defeat over Antonio Tostado, and this time he became the new Latin American super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council.

Lopez won the contest by TKO at 1:55 of the second round, in what was the second chapter of the new season of Boxing Telemundo from Mexico City.

From the initial bell the things were in favor of Lopez who pressed with jab at the long distance and finishing with blows to the body, while Tostado could not answer with the necessary punches to change the tide around.

For the second turn, a crossed over right-hand blow to Tostado's jaw opened the path of victory for Uriel, who did not hesitate to throw everything in front and put the first hooks to the liver, lowering the guard of Toasted, who remained at the mercy of Uriel.

Lopez threw his best guns against the humanity of Tostado who went against the ropes from product of two hooks to the face, until the third man in the ring intervened and put an end to the fight. The referee stopped the fight in a wise manner.

In the semi-final fight of the night, Gerson "El Tigre" Escobar of the State of Mexico picked up a victory over Jorge "La Vaquita" Romero Ayala of the State of Mexico by unanimous decision, over six rounds at lightweight.

Kevin Salgado Zambrano of Mexico City takes the victory by unanimous decision over Luis Enrique Montelongo, also from the capital, over six at super welterweight.

Porfirio "Falucho" González of the City of Mexico got a victory by unanimous decision over José Ángel Rojas of the State of Hidalgo, over six at super flyweight.
