MTK Global is delighted to announce the signing of amateur star Jack Martin as he turns professional.

Martin enjoyed an impressive amateur career, winning a number of titles along the way, and he’s now excited to be joining the paid ranks with MTK by his side.

Martin said: “I’m buzzing and it’s all very surreal. It means a hell of a lot to me for MTK to put their faith into me, and I hope I can repay them with some great performances.

“For me MTK are the biggest growing company in the world. They’ve got some huge names and I’m honoured to be a part of the team.

“British boxing couldn’t be in a better place at the moment, so it’s definitely a great time for me to be turning over.

“I’m 24 and I’m not getting any younger, so I’m at the perfect age to be joining the professional ranks.”

Promoter Lee Eaton added: “I’m pleased to add Jack to our already great roster of fighters.

“He’s done his apprenticeship in the amateurs and is looking to get cracking in the professionals. He will be kept very busy in his first year as a professional.”

Davey Oliver Joyce and Stephen Tiffney will clash for the WBO European featherweight title in Manchester on March 15.

Unbeaten Mullingar Olympian Joyce (9-0-KO7) and Scotland’s Tiffney (10-1-KO4) will meet on the MTK Global show – live on iFL TV – at Bowlers Exhibition Centre.

Joyce said: “There’s real excitement now in the camp. There’s massive motivation now. Even last year, I was saying I wanted big fights. MTK Global said they had big plans for me and now we’re here.

“The opportunity has come and I can’t wait for it. I’m feeling great in camp already after just two weeks. In eight weeks time, I’m going to be fantastic.”

Tiffney added: "It's the perfect fight for me at this time. These are the bouts I'm after and he's a good opponent who is going to bring the best out of me.

"I've seen a few of his fights in the past and I've known of him ever since he was doing well things in the amateurs. It's a contest that really excites me, especially with a title being on the line.

"This is a great way to start the year. Once you get your first title it can push you on to bigger and better things, so I'm looking forward to getting in there."

Joining Joyce vs. Tiffney on the card will be a host of local talent including Ben Sheedy, Mike McGoldrick, McAulay McGowan and more.

WBO European champion Archie Sharp is eager to make an example of undefeated Lucas Ballingall at the Royal Albert Hall on March 8 – live on BT Sport.

Sharp (14-0-KO7) puts his title on the line against Ballingall (11-0-KO3) on a huge card at the London venue and is hopeful another stellar performance will secure a showdown with highly-rated American Ryan Garcia later in the year.

Sharp said: “It means a lot to be boxing at the Royal Albert Hall. I’ve never even been there, let alone boxed there so I’m looking forward to making a big statement and going down in the history of the place.

“There will be hundreds and hundreds of ‘Sharpshooter’ fans in that prestigious old building on the night. We made a big noise in Leicester but now we’ve back closer to home in London, it’s going to be even bigger.

“It was a good performance against Woodstock but I can do a lot better than that. I’ve looked back on it and there are lots of things I’ve been working on since that I can do a lot better. The performance on March 8 will be bigger and better – mark my words.

“Now we’re on a big platform, I’m going to show everyone just how good I am. I’m boxing another undefeated fighter because I don’t hide from anyone. Woodstock was supposed to be a big prospect and so’s Ballingall.

“Once I win this fight, I’ll have beaten two unbeaten fighters and taken two ‘0s’. That should send a pretty clear message over to Ryan Garcia and the rest of the American boxing industry. I would fight him later this year.”

Joining Sharp on a busy bill at the Royal Albert Hall is British middleweight king Liam Williams, who defends his title against Joe Mullender.

Belfast’s Paddy Gallagher will travel to the famous York Hall in London to take on Freddy Kiwitt for the WBO European title on February 22 – live on iFL TV.

‘Pat-Man’ (15-4-KO9) claimed the BUI Celtic welterweight back in October with a stoppage of Jay Byrne and looks to add to his collection against Germany’s Kiwitt (13-2-KO7), who has made the venue his home of late.

Gallagher said: “To headline for a title is the stuff of dreams. I was saying it’s going to happen and now here we are!

“I was very proud to win the Celtic title but this is another massive step up – both geographically in terms of the size of the area and as a career move. I’m thrilled.

“This is a massive, massive moment for me at this stage in my career. I’ve been to York Hall and fought at the venue before but let’s not go there!

“I’ve watched a few clips here and there of Kiwitt but I’ll leave all the analysis and the tactical decisions to my coach Gerard McManus. He’ll come up with the right game plan and I’ll go and execute it.

“This iFL live-stream MTK Global shows now have is a real winner. It’s free, it’s online and it’s top quality so it’s a platform that’s going to grow and grow. I can’t wait to kick off the year with a win and put myself further up the ladder.”

Joining Gallagher on a busy bill at the home of British boxing are Danny Dignum, Dan Azeez, Siar Ozgul, Liam Wells, Daniel Egbunike, Josh Adewale, Donovan Mortlock, Jack Ewbank, Michael Elliott and more.

Danny Dignum leads a stellar undercard as MTK Global heads to York Hall for their latest fight night event on Friday 22 February.

The hard-hitting middleweight (9-0, KO5) will look to extend his unbeaten record when he returns to action fresh off of his impressive third round stoppage win against Alistair Warren in December.

Light heavyweight talent Dan Azeez (6-0 KO3) is on the card too, as he competes for the first time since defeating former Commonwealth champion Charles Adamu in October.

Super lightweight Siar Ozgul (14-2) returns after going the distance with ex-world champion Viktor Postol in November, while welterweight prospect Liam Wells (3-0) fights for the fourth time.

Exciting prospect Danny Egbunike (3-0 KO2) will be searching for his third stoppage victory on the bill, plus Jack Ewbank (1-0) will try to make it two wins from two in the paid ranks.

Middleweight Donovan Mortlock (1-0) is in action, and there's a debut for Michael Elliott as he takes his first step as a professional.

Billy Underwood (1-0), Josh Adewale (1-0), Josh Paine (1-0) and debutant Huzaifah Iqbal complete the list of fighters on the undercard.
