With several days to go before the big rematch, WBA flyweight champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez replaced well known trainer Rudy Perez with local coach Jose Reyes. No concrete reason was provided for the swicth, but this Saturday Marquez defends the title in a high stakes rematch with Panamanian Luis "El Nica" Concepcion at the CUM of Hermosillo. On April 2 in Panama, Marquez stopped Concepcion in eleven rounds to capture the title. For the win over Concepcion, Marquez was trained by Manuel Montiel, but later he was replaced with Rudy Perez and now Jose Reyes is the man in the corner.
