WBA junior flyweight champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez is only three weeks away from defending his title at the Hermosillo CUM. A rematch of his "Fight of The Year" candidate, as he takes on Luis "El Nica" Concepcion for a second time. Marquez is taking a strong step in his preparation, with two daily training sessions which are adding up to 16 rounds per day in the gym, between sparring and excercises.

Marquez (31-2-0, 24 KOs) vs. Concepcion (23-2-0, 18 KOs) takes place on Saturday, October 29, on a Zanfer promoted card at the Multipurpose Center in Hermosillo, and televised by TV Azteca and Fox Sports. Marquez won their first meeting in April, when he stopped Concepcion in the eleventh round.

"The preparation is going well. We are working at a rapid pace, weight is no problem and we know Concepcion. I'm sure it will be a great fight again, but this time I will win easier," said Marquez.

Marquez has been sparring with Enrique "Twin" Quevedo, Juan Pablo Rodriguez and Jose Contreras.

"We need to reach more than 100% because we don't want to give away any advantage. This fight is very important to me. I will show that I was superior to him in the first fight and I'll be superior to him in the second. This is for my people of Hermosillo, and I am ready for another war," says Marquez.
