Movie theaters across North America are lining up to show Fury vs. Wilder III, the highly anticipated heavyweight trilogy showdown between WBC and lineal champion Tyson “The Gypsy King” Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) and former world champion Deontay “The Bronze Bomber” Wilder (42-1-1, 41 KOs) on Saturday, Oct. 9 from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Participating theaters include Cinemark, AMC, Regal, Harkins, Galaxy, and several more.

The two have restarted their long-running feud, highlighted by their nearly six-minute faceoff at June’s kickoff press conference in Los Angeles.

“Fury and Wilder are two of the biggest names in boxing,” said Joe Hand, Jr., President of Joe Hand Promotions.

“This is their third time stepping in the ring and the amount of excitement for the previous two bouts have been some of the most anticipated fights of all time. There is no doubt that this, too, will have crowds filling movie theaters across North America to watch this spectacle.”

Fury defeated Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015 and has held the lineal heavyweight crown ever since.  His two fights against Wilder launched him back to the top of the heavyweight division. Their December 2018 fight ended in a draw, with Fury rising off the canvas in the climactic 12th round.

Fury then stopped Wilder in the seventh round of their one-sided February 2020 rematch. Wilder wanted an immediate third crack at Fury, and now he gets that opportunity.
