WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury took to social media to claim Derek Chisora rejected an offer of £2 million for a year-end trilogy fight.

Last week, Fury was openly blasting Chisora for dragging his feet on signing a contract for a trilogy bout.

But, a few days later Fury would also announce his retirement from boxing.

Chisora's promoter, Eddie Hearn, claimed the offer being presented was a bit too low.

Fury feels Chisora missed out on a big opportunity to make a good payday.

"I see Derek Chisora has been having a little pop; licking his wounds after losing £2 million. God almighty, what a mistake, what a mistake! You're probably going to get £375,000 for your next fight and your management team turned down £2 million," Fury stated.

"What jokers, a pack of jokers. Honestly, there's more brains in your little finger than your full management team will ever have. Where is someone like Derek Chisora going to get offered £2 million ever again?"

Fury holds two victories over Chisora - with a dominant decision win in 2011 and a stoppage win in 2014.

Back in April, Fury knocked out mandatory challenger Dillian Whyte in six rounds before a crowd of 94,000 at Wembley Stadium. Afterwards, the 'Gypsy King' discussed his desire to retire from the sport.

Most insiders expect Fury to target the winner of Saturday rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua, who battle for the WBO, IBF, WBA, IBO heavyweight belts in Saudi Arabia.
