Kazakhstan sensation Tursynbay Kulakhmet will now go up against experienced Aleksei Evchenko when MTK Fight Night heads to Almaty this month.

The event takes place on Saturday 10 July, and will be broadcast on ESPN+ in association with Top Rank in the US, on SportTimeKZ in Kazakhstan, and on IFL TV for the rest of the world.

It sees Kulakhmet (3-0, 2 KOs) have a well-deserved homecoming after his last two fights took place in the UK and Dubai, going up against former WBO European and Russian champion Evchenko (19-14-2, 8 KOs).

The 37-year-old is known for his toughness, having been stopped just one in 35 professional contests, with Kulakhmet looking to get a stoppage of his own when they meet.

Elsewhere on the main card, Sultan Zaurbek (10-0, 7 KOs) faces his toughest test to date against Ronnie Clark (21-4-2, 10 KOs), Nurtas Azhbenov (11-0, 4 KOs) squares off with Isa Chaniev (14-3, 6 KOs), Talgat Shayken (4-0, 2 KOs) meets Alexander Sharonov (12-5-2, 6 KOs),

Ivan Dychko (9-0, 9 KOs) squares off with Denis Bakhtov (39-18, 26 KOs), and Dauren Yelussioniv (8-1-1, 7 KOs) collides with Arman Rysbek (7-1, 6 KOs).

The undercard also features a number of rising stars from Kazakhstan and beyond, including Bagdat Uaydayev, Ray Seitzhankov, Abay Tolesh, Rakhat Seitzhan, Aidos Medet, and more.
