Former beltholder Edgar Sosa (46-7, 28KOs) has received the pleasant news that Japan's Toshiayuki Igarashi (16-1, 10KOs), the WBC's flyweight champion, is interested in facing him. Igarashi recently captured the title with a close points win over Filipino Sonny Boy Jaro.

It has been revealed that an offer is on the table for a potential November clash in Japan.

"I would love to get this opportunity. I would be willing to go to Japan, but it's up to my promoter. I saw videos of his fights. His style is complicated, but he's beatable. I have more experience, I am more mature and I have a huge desire to succeed. I'll be ready for November," Sosa said.
