Tim Bradley and Diego Chaves engaged in a war Saturday, with both fighters suffering visible injuries.

They clashed heads a few times and both boxers' left eyes swelled badly during the controversial split draw.

Bradley said after the fight he thought his cheekbone was fractured, but he avoided serious injury.

Top Rank announced Sunday that Bradley didn't suffer a fracture in his cheekbone and X-rays were negative.

The good news will allow Bradley to return to training sooner than later. Rematches with Chavez and Juan Manuel Marquez loom as possibilities for 2015.
