French heavyweight Tony Yoka (6-0) returned Saturday night after a year out n Antibes.  He was out due to a suspension for missing out on doping tests. 

And Yoka, a 2016 Olympic gold medal winner, had no problems stopping Alexander Dimitrenko (41-6). Reports indicate a poor performance from the 37-year old German-Ukrainian veteran who was stopped in the third.

In other action on the bill super welterweight Souleymane Cissokho (10-0) knocked out Argentinean Jose Carlos Paz (23-10-1) in the fourth and bantamweight Elie Konki (7-0) retained the national title with a points win over Sebastian Iacobas.

Super welterweight Cedric Vitu had to pull out during fight week was replaced by Ahmed El Mousaoui (30-3-1) who outscored tough Russian Alexander Sharonov (12-4-2).

Italian-Tunisian welterweight Mohammed Khalladi (13-8-1) pulled off what on paper was a big upset as he stopped Marcello Matano (21-4) in the eigth to win the vacant IBF Mediterranean title in Sequals Sunday (July 14) evening.

This was the headliner of Boxe Loreni´s annual Primo Carnera Memorial. The former heavyweight champion of the world was born in Sequals and lived there for most of his life.

In other action in Italy but this time In Ladispoli Saturday (July 13), evening Luca D´Ortenzi (10-1) captured the vacant national heavyweight title with a TKO win over Sergio Romano (10-13-3).

The catchweight contest between super middleweight Timo Laine and cruiserweight Marko Mononen set for August 10 in Savonlinna (Finland) is off after a death in Mononen´s family. Laine will now face an opponent to be announced.

The show is headlined by Edis Tatli vs Berman Sanchez and light heavy Dayron Lester (11-3) have been added to the bill.

Latvian LNK Boxing presents "LNK Fight Night 12" July 20 in Jurmala. Topping the bill is a fight between super welters Ismail Iliev (11-1-1) and Twaha Kiduko (14-4-1). In the co-feature cruiser Ralfs Vilcans (8-0) take on Italian veteran Maurizio Lovaglio (22-17).

The event also includes MMA fights.
