The WBC Continental Americas lightweight champion, Ontario's Tony Luis (19-2-0), will now make the first defense of his title against Ira Terry (26-13-0) on April 17 during a planned gala at the Grand Casino in Hinckley, Minnesota. Luis was initially scheduled to face southpaw Tyrone Harris (24-10-0), who apparently decided to go in another direction and never signed a contract. Luis put his hand on the crown on January 30th, with an upset decision win over previously undefeated Karl Dargan (17-1-0). The clash will be broadcast via CBS Sports.
