At 'Clash of Nations' at Lobo Dome, Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico, two young unbeaten bantamweights fought to a ten round draw in their battle for the WBC Youth World title. Stephane Jamoye (18-0-1, 8KOs) of Germany and Tomoki Kameda (15-0-1, 11KOs) of Japan kept their unbeaten streaks going after a ten round tussle. The scores were 96-95 Jamoye, 96-95 Kameda and 96-96.

They fought from beginning to end, from the first bell and never stepped back. Along the ten rounds Kameda took the fight to Jamoye, who quickly countered with his own punches that were catching Kameda. Jamoye's nose was bleeding bad in the ninth round but it didn't wear him out. Kameda was unable to finish Jamoye or slow down his attacks.

In the end, they showed their sportsmanship by giving each other a huge hug and forgot about all of their bickering which took place during media events thoughout the week.
