PalaTrento in Trento, Italy - Cruiserweight contender Tommy McCarthy (16-2, 8 KOs) reignited his career with a twelve round split decision over previously unbeaten Fabio Turchi (17-1, 13 KOs) to win the WBC International title.

The closely-fought boxing match saw McCarthy pick up his third victory in a row.

The judges scored the contest 116-112, 115-113 in favor of McCarthy, and the third had Turchi up 116-112.

In another close bout, featherweight contender Francesco Grandelli (13-1-1, 2 KOs) won a ten round split decision over Reece Bellotti (14-2, 12 KOs) to capture the vacant WBC International silver title. The scores were 96-95, 96-94 for Grandelli, and 96-95 for Bellotti.

Prospect Dalton Smith (3-0, 1 KO) won a six round unanimous decision over Marko Radenovic (0-2).

In another close and unexpected outcome, middleweight contender Matteo Signani (29-5, 10 KOs) captured the vacant EBU title with a twelve round split decision over Gevorg Khatchikian (29-3, 14 KOs). The scores were 116-112 and 115-113 Signani, while the third saw a score of 115-114 for Khatchikian.
