Roger Bloodworth, the trainer of two division champion Tomasz Adamek, talks about his boxer's upcoming fight with Kevin McBride in April, and the scheduled fight in September with either WBO/IBO/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko, or WBC champion Vitali Klitschko.

Rafał Kazimierczak: In April, Tomasz Adamek has to fight with Kevin McBride. Is this is a good warm-up prior to the scheduled fight in September Wladimir Klitschko?

Roger Bloodworth: At this level, no fight can not be regarded as a warm up.

In September, Adamek is scheduled to face either Wladimir or Vitali, is it too early for such a challenge?

RB: I do not think in those terms. Whether he's ready or not, Tomasz will enter the ring.

It is better to fight with Wladimir of the older Vitali?

RB: Both of them are giants. They have size, and ability, and achievements. When I talk about a Klitschko, I use the term "great boxer."

Many  of Klitschko's opponents were already beaten before they even entering the ring. How will Adamek withstand the tension that others could not?

RB: It will not be a problem. Adamek is a man who is very sure of himself. In my opinion, some people signed contracts to fight with the Klitschkos, but they didn't really want to fight them. If you're not confident, you are not going to win, so do not bother yourself and others. Tomasz told me that he wants this fight and he will win.
