Heavyweight Tomasz Adamek is ready for his date with Kevin McBride on April 9. It was be the final fight for Adamek before a set meeting with either of the Klitschko brothers in the fall. Adamek (43-1, 28 KOs) takes on McBride at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey (35-8-1, 29 KOs). The Klitschko fight is going to take place at a soccer stadium in Poland.

With IBO/IBF/WBO champion Wladimir Klitschko signing a contract to face David Haye on June 25 or July 2, it creates the heavy specualtion that WBC champion Vitali Klitschko is going to become the likely brother to face Adamek. Vitali is defending his belt next Saturday against Odlanier Solis in Germany. Between the two brothers, Adamek considers Wladimir as the tougher opponent because of his boxing ability.

"Vitali is more predictable than Wladimir. Although Vitali has a stronger jaw than his brother, he's also slower. He's not as confusing to figure out. But for now, I'm not thinking about it, I'm only focused on the fight against McBride," Adamek said.
