Former two division champion Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28 KOs) plans to remain around 224, 225-pounds for power and strength. The Polish star felt a little overwhelmed in his tenth round knockout loss to WBC champion Vitali Klitschko (43-2, 40 KOs) in September. As previously reported, Adamek has bulked up with some muscle and plans to continue working on the power of his punches with trainer Roger Bloodworth. Adamek hopes to return in March 2012 in New York or New Jersey.

"We train twice a day. Roger says that I need to improve the impact of my punches and my strength. In his opinion, as I weigh 224, 225-pounds, I hit harder, so we will not go down [in weight]. I trust him completely and I'll do as he says," Adamek said.
