German heavyweight contender Tom Schwarz could be facing charges for assaulting a woman, writes MZ (Mitteldeutsche Zeitung). It's being alleged that Schwarz attacked the woman on May 31 in Lostau (near Magdeburg).

The police have confirmed that an incident took place but not much else, in terms of the details of what took place, has been released.

Schwarz'  promoter SES has suspended him while the investigation goes on and he is not allowed to train in the SES gym.

Schwarz (26-1) biggest claim to fame is getting stopped by top heavyweight Tyson Fury in two rounds, last year in La Vegas, and he's been carefully groomed by SES.

Schwartz currently holds the IBF Int'l title and at 26 he's got time on his side - if he can keep out of trouble outside of the ropes that is.

WBO Int'l super welterweight champion Jack Culcay (27-4) is in against tough and experienced Frenchman Howard Cospolite (18-7-3) on June 12 in Berlin on AGON Sports' promotion.

Cospolite holds the national title and before that he went 0-1-1 against Dylan Charrat in fights for the vacant EU 154 lb title. He's also scored some good wins abroad as well and had some controversial results against him and will give Culcay a good fight - but it will a big upset if he wins.
