During a recent podcast for William Hill, British boxing pundit Steve Bunce said WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley was too good for WBA title-holder Amir Khan. Bunce says Khan would taking too much of a risk at this point by going after Bradley. Despite reports that are out there, Frank Warren denied that any Khan-Bradley negotiations were taking place. There are other plans for Khan. Bunce would like to see Khan fight either Juan Manuel Marquez or Nate Campbell.

"My gut feeling is Bradley is too sharp and too dangerous for Khan. He is too good a fighter. What you do is, you can step up against someone who is coming up from another weight division who is maybe a faded name like Nate Campbell or Marquez. The idea is you step up without taking a risk, otherwise he would have stayed at lightweight and fought Edwin Valero," Bunce said.

"The Tim Bradley fight, right now, makes no sense. Khan is not big enough in America. That’s the bottom line. If we were not in a business, Ajose Olusegun would be fighting Amir Khan for the WBA title. Olusegun being the former British champion, who has been waiting for a WBC eliminator for far too long. If we were not in a business then Amir Khan would have had to have fought John Murray for the British lightweight title."
