It’s no secret that Timothy Bradley is being groomed and showcased by Top Rank to be Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent should a fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr not materialize. Bradley seems to be keeping his options open in case a Pacquiao fight doesn’t happen and one opponent who he’d be happy to face is the same guy Manny Pacquiao is fighting this weekend.

When asked about a possible clash with the Mexican warrior, a smiling Tim Bradley responded with “Oh Yeah! I’ve always wanted to get it on with Marquez. I’ve always wanted to ever since I seen his fight against Juan Diaz. I was like man, I can beat that guy”.

Bradley who still owns a title in the 140lb division isn’t sure if he’ll stay put as it really depends on who his opponent may be. A fight with Pacquiao would more than likely take place at 147 but Bradley would stay at 140 for Marquez or the right opponent.

“I’m not sure if I’m going to stay down at 140 and try to clean out the division. Possibly try to get a fight with Amir Khan or Marcos Maidana or another big fight out there” said Bradley.

While he’s considering different fights for next year, the two fights that still remain at the top of his list are the ones that every fighter seems to want.

“All in all, if I had it my way, I’d go straight to the top. Either Mayweather or Manny Pacquiao”.
