According to Keith Thurman's trainer, the respected Dan Birmingham, their next assignment is all set.

"December 13th, we're fighting Leonard Bundu at the Mandalay Bay. It's already signed,"Birmingham told BoxingScene.com."We don't know much about this guy, he's strong, we know he switches right and left but I know Keith's going to be prepared."

In 2014, Thurman (23-0, 21KOs) has just three rounds under his belt. Back in late April, he scored an early stoppage of veteran Julio Diaz at the StubHub Center in Carson, California - but Birmingham isn't concerned with any ring rust.

"Not at all he stayed in the gym, he lives in the gym. He's here everyday."

The 39-year old Bundu has a mark of 31-0 and his coming off an upset victory over the previously undefeated Frankie Gavin. This bout will be part of a Showtime tripleheader from Las Vegas that will feature Amir Khan-Devon Alexander and Demetrius Andrade-Jermell Charlo.
