Welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme told Boxeomundial.com in a recent video interview that his Showtime televised fight on Saturday night, against Lithuanian Eimantas Stanionis, has a real possibility of not reaching the distance.

Dulorme believes that he has the power to finish the fight in any round.

"Stanionis is young, and he surely comes with the hunger to win. I know it is a tough fight but my experience against better opponents will be decisive," Dulorme said.

Dulorme realizes that his opponent is strong and he realizes that most knows that many observers are not giving him a chance to win the fight.

"I think the Stanionis team made a serious mistake. I have the power to win by knockout, and the experience to win by unanimous decision," Dulorme said.

"I've had more than two months of training to arrive in the best physical condition. I understand that this fight can define the future of my career, it is a WBA sanctioned welterweight eliminator.

"I am confident in the work we have done in our training camp for this fight. I know that Stanionis has power because of his record and will be the favorite. Maybe the Stanionis team believes that they can use my name and my boxing record as a springboard to move their fighter up the ranks to the big events. I don't think that will happen.

"I think it is a serious mistake that they made. I am confident that it will be an exciting fight, I always give my best in each fight to please the fans and the TV networks, and this time it will not be any different. I will impose my experience, my power and my skills."
