Puerto Rico's Dulorme Thomas (18-1, 13KOs) is ready for a quick return to the ring. This past Saturday night in Carolina, he won an eight round unanimous decision over late-replacement Ben Ankrah of Ghana. According to Dulorme, he will return to the ring on June 28 in New York and the fight will be televised by either ESPN as part of their Friday Night Fights series or Showtime as part of their ShoBox series. Dulorme will continue to push his weight down as he travels to the junior welterweight division.

"The next fight will be on June 28 on a card that could very well be on Showtime or ESPN. So there's no room to stop. We wanted to start making 140 pounds, but the opponent need a higher weight and therefore we allowed 146. But still, I realized that my movements are faster now [at a lower weight]," Dulorme told Carlos Narvaez.
