Olympia, Liverpool - Former lightweight world champion Terry Flanagan (34-2, 14 KOs) snapped a two fight losing streak with a fifth round stoppage of Jonas Segu (19-9-2).

The win snapped a two fight losing streak for Flanagan, and it was his first victory since April of 2017 - when he decisioned Petr Petrov to retain the WBO title at 135-pounds.

Following that bout, Flanagan vacated the belt and moved up to the junior welterweight division.

He was granted an immediate title shot, as he and Maurice Hooker fought for the vacant WBO strap at 140-pounds. Although he was the favorite going in, Hooker outboxed and outworked him to a twelve round split decision win.

Flanagan then returned in October as part of the World Boxing Super Series tournament at junior welterweight, and he was dropped and dominated over the twelve round distance by dangerous Regis Prograis.

Following that bruising defeat, Flanagan took a few months off to regroup and eventually inked a management deal with MTK Global.

Also on the card, impressive rising prospect Sam Maxwell (12-0, 10 KOs) continued his path of destruction as he needed only two rounds to blow away overmatched Oscar Amador (10-21), who was never in the fight.

Craig Glover (10-2, 8 KOs) continues to rebuild, picking up a six round decision over Jiri Svacina (13-35).
