The rematch is still not set for the 22nd of September at the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw. Earlier, it was reported that WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (46-2-1, 33 KOs) signed a contract to face Francisco Palacios (21-1, 13 KOs) of Puerto Rico in a mandatory rematch.

The information was circulated by Palacios, who earlier complained that Wlodarczyk was dragging his feet with signing the contract. The champion's promotor, Andrzej Wasilewski, has denied the information and says "there is no signed contract" and the fight is "far from done." He has no idea where Palacios obtained that information.

The boxers first met last April in Bydgoszcz, with the champion winning a controversial split decision. The WBC ordered a rematch at last December's annual convention.
