York Hall, London - Dropping down in weight, Sunny Edwards (13-0, 4 KOs) easily won a ten round unanimous decision over Rosendo Guarneros (16-3-2, 8 KOs) to capture vacant IBF and WBO regional titles.

The scores were 100-90, 99-91, 99-91.

Edwards, the brother of WBC world champion Charlie Edwards, saw too slick and his defensive skills were on point. Guarneros was mostly chasing and missing for the bulk of the fight as Edwards was outboxing him on the backfoot.

Edwards is looking for bigger fights in the future and has a real interest in the winner of the upcoming bout between Paddy Barnes and Jay Harris.

In a battle of unbeatens for the British, Commonwealth super bantamweight titles, Lucien Reid (8-0) and Brad Foster (11-0) ended in a majority draw.

Light heavyweight prospect Kody Davies (10-0, 3 KOs), who is trained by former world champion Gavin Rees, secured a ten round unanimous decision over fellow unbeaten prospect Zak Chelli (7-1, 3 KOs).

In a contest with several close rounds, Davies was the better man with his workrate and accurate punch count. The scores were 96-94, 96-93 and 97-92.

In a rematch, light heavyweight Shakan Pitters (13-0, 4 KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Dec Spelman (16-3, 8 KOs). All three judges had the fight scored 97-93.

In their first encounter in November 2018, Pitters picked up a three-round decision over Spelman in the Ultimate Boxxer II tournament.

Other fighters who saw decision wins on the undercard include Harvey Horn, Umar Sadiq, Micky Burke, Caoimhin Agyarko, James Branch and Mark Chamberlain.
