The German mega-fight between ex-champions Felix Sturm (41-5-3) and Vincent Feigenbutz (32-3) is still not a done deal and now there's another big all-German fight for Sturm being talked about - at least according to BILD - and that is against former WBA, WBO and EBU light heavyweight champ Juergen Braehmer (52-3).

Both Sturm and Braehmer are 40+ - but while Sturm returned this past December after several years out, Braehmer has kept himself in shape and has looked pretty sharp in his recent fights (he didn't fight during 2020).

Braehmer is also training fighters with former WBA super middleweight ruler Tyron Zeuge, his best known pupil. When, where and most importantly if the fight will happen is still open.

More Universum news: both Argentineans, Walter Gabriel Sequiera and Javier Francisco Maciel, booked for Universum's show in Hamburg February 20 are off the bill due to COVID-19. Sequeira was set to take on James Kraft while Maciel was to be the opponent for James'  brother Toni.

Czech promoter and former world champion Lukas Konecny stages a huge - quantity wise - show in Usti nad Labem on February 27. There's all in all about 26 fights planned and the event is billed as Save Boxing.

Konecny (51-5) will take on Pavel Albrecht (6-8) but the main event is between Josef Zahradnik (12-4) and Erik Agaeljan (6-0) in a fight for the Czech title at super lightweight.

Konecny has staged shows like this before and it gives some of Czech Republic's many journeymen a chance to get a win at home, as boxing today with a good record often leads to better paydays abroad.
