In the first boxing event to be staged at the newly opened Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort and casino, Steven Navarro made his own debut a successful one.

In his first professional fight, Navarro (1-0, 1 KO), of Los Angeles, California, stopped Jose Lopez (4-4-1) in the sixth round of their junior bantamweight tilt. The time of the stoppage was 2:42.

In the first bout of the evening, Harley Mederos (6-0) won via fourth-round knockout in his lightweight battle against Pedro Vicente (7-7-1), who hit the canvas twice. The fight was Mederos’ first in 14 months.

The preliminary fights came on the non-broadcast portion of Saturday’s DAZN-streamed Richardson Hitchins-Gustavo Lemos card.
