MGM Promotions have confirmed further names for their first of two shows next month.

The Spanish-based outfit, who have a card at the National Stadium in Dublin on February 6, recently announced a show, which is to be topped by unbeaten heavyweight Sean Turner (7-0, 5 KOs), for 24 hours earlier.

Steve Collins Jr. (5-0-1, 1 KO), Ciaran Mullen (1-0-1) and Gerard Whitehouse (4-0, 1 KO) are among those already confirmed for the Roadstone Club show in Clondalkin on February 5.

But it has now emerged that the headline act and the aforementioned trio will be joined by three new additions.

Ian Tims (11-3, 3 KOs), the Celtic Warrior cruiserweight champion, is returning to an MGM show after beating Michael Sweeney in November at the National Stadium, while Liverpool super welterweight James Metcalf (11-0, 5 KOs) and former world title challenger Tsifhiwa Munyai (27-4-1, 15 KOs) will feature.

‘Jay Jay’ Metcalf will fight for the first time on Irish soil under MGM, with whom he signed before his last win in Ellesmere Port back in July.

And Munyai, who was stopped swiftly in a challenge for the WBA super bantamweight title against Scott Quigg nearly two years ago, will look to extend his record as he hunts down Commonwealth featherweight champion Josh Warrington (22-0, 4 KOs).

“We feel that this card is giving the Irish boxing fans what they want,” the MGM management team said.

“It's full of top talent and is certainly not a traditional small-hall show.”

Tickets, priced at €40 (standard) and €60 (ringside) are on sale now and can be purchased from the boxers themselves or by emailing info@mgm.com.es.
