Back on the night of April 15th at the Belasco Theater in Los Angeles, junior middleweights Jesus Soto-Karass (28-10-4, 18KOs) and Yoshihiro Kamegai (26-3-2, 23KOs) fought to an entertaining ten-round draw.  It was a fight that had very little breaks in the action and neither man flinched throughout.

And there's a good chance we'll be seeing it again on September 17th as part of the Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Liam Smith HBO pay-per-view undercard.

Robert Diaz, the matchmaker for Golden Boy Promotions, told BoxingScene.com - "As soon as the original fight was over, Eric (Gomez, Sr. V.P. of GBP) and I talked about it,'Hey, this would be a great fight fight on the next 'Canelo' undercard.' We haven't sat down because we just finalized the 'Canelo'-Smith fight but that's a fight that can potentially fit on that card and I think people want to see that rematch."

And there's also a very strong possibility that a heavyweight tilt between WBA interim-champion Luis Ortiz and top-rated challenger Alexander Ustinov will wind up on this bill.

''That's the plan," confirmed Diaz.
