“Marvelous” Marvin Sonsona has sparred four rounds with former world champion Sugar Shane Mosley at his Big  Bear training camp in California.

In a conversation with his manager Dr. Rajan Yraola, Sonsona - who has been training in the US for the past three weeks - said he was honored by the opportunity to spar with Mosley since some of his fighters were not ready to spar with Sonsona.

Mosley stepped up and Sonsona said he was “really very fast like the Mosley of old.”

Sonsona whose routine includes jogging at noon because of the cold weather and works on the punch-mitts and heavy bag in the evening while doing conditioning with Angel “Memo” Heredia.
