IBF middleweight champion Sam `King’ Soliman (44-11, 18KOs) is finishing up his training camp in New York City for his October 8th defense against former champion Jermain 'Bad Intentions' Taylor (32-4-1, 20KOs).

Taylor, seen as a fighter who is way past his best days, has only fought four times since a 2009 knockout loss to Arthur Abraham. Taylor has been inactive since last December, while Soliman is riding his biggest career moment.

Soliman is currently training with Giovanni Lorenzo and Lujuan Simon. Back in Australia, he was sparring with Zac Dunn, Jake Carr and Michael Zerafa.

He expects his furious workrate to break Taylor down and put him away.

"My speed and unorthodox style are the things that will work for me,’’ Soliman told Fox News. "Jermain is a big guy and a heavy punchier but he can’t match my non-stop work. I have never had a problem with stamina but I think he will as I start wearing him down.’’
