Alexander Chernetsov of the Vostok Boxing Team produced a small card at the ArtPrichal Gallery in Kiev, Ukraine. Despite the fact that there were no bouts scheduled for more than 6 rounds, a familiar name could be found on the roster.

Stanislav Skorokhod, aged 26, came back with a stoppage win almost a year since his loss to John Thompson in the semifinal of the 2015 BoxCino tourney.

Thompson went on to grab the main prize with a sensational stoppage win over Brandon Adams which later helped him to be awarded with a WBO title challenge (which he has in turn lost to Liam Smith).

Meanwhile, Skorokhod took almost a year off to re-group and to restore his power in his Homeland. This time Skorokhod dropped and stopped in the third an ultimate Ukrainian journeyman in Vladimir Borovskiy (21-61-2, 10 KOs). Skorokhod improves to 10-1, with 8 KOs.

In the main event, local hero - a 20-year old Ukrainian Vladyslav Baranov (4-1, 3 KOs) - was taken to school by the rugged Georgian import Nikoloz Gviniashvili (13-5-3, 9 KOs). Baranov looked solid in the first couple of rounds but he couldn't get the rid off the Georgian. Gviniashvili kept pressing retreating Baranov through a mid-point and rocked him several times with well-placed left hooks and uppercuts in the closing rounds of a six-rounder. Nevertheless, two judges awarded this fight to Baranov: 58-57 and criminal 60-54. The third judge saw it 57-57 - a draw. BoxingScene was less generous, awarding it to the Georgian: 58-56.

Other results:

Eduard Skavinskiy (3-0, 1 KO) TKO 1 Aleksejs Palcuns (7-6, 7 KOs). Palcuns was down three times before a stoppage came at 2:02

Alexander Kupreychik (3-1, 2 KOs) UD 6 Denys Checheta (1-3, 1 KO)

Roman Naumenko (3-1, 2 KOs) TKO 2 Alexander Budnyk (1-3, 1 KO)
