The undercard to "The World Awaits" show in Nykoping, Sweden, on December 19 is headlined by local light heavyweight star Erik Skoglund taking on Derek Edwards over ten three minute non-title rounds.

On the undercard, Anthony Yigit face veteran DeMarcus Corley but not over 10x3 as was planned but over 8x3 after the Martial Arts Delegation felt Corley was overmatched over the longer distance. Sauerland Promotion re-applied for a fight over 8x3 and that was approved.

Heavyweight Otto Wallin´s fight against Samir Kurtagic had a similar fate. It was nixed by MAD over 8x3 but later approved for 6x3.

All the problems with the above fights led to light heavies Sven Fornling and Alexander Hagen fighting over 4x3.

12-minutes is the max distance generally allowed for professional boxing in Sweden. For anything above that one need special permission from the Martial Arts Delegation.
