According to Showtime Sports head Stephen Espinoza, a decision is coming 'pretty quickly' with respect to the rematch between IBF, IBO, WBA heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua and former division king Wladimir Klitschko.

Joshua has an exclusive television deal in the United States with Showtime.

As previously reported on BoxingScene.com, Joshua's promoter Eddie Hearn recently traveled over to Las Vegas to meet with MGM executives, and he toured the T-Mobile Arena - which at the moment is the fronterunner to host the second fight.

Back in April, Joshua got off the floor in the sixth round to stop Klitschko in the eleventh before a record crowd of 90,000 fans at Wembley in London.

The fight was televised by both Showtime and HBO, and the rematch would be as well.

Klitschko has the ability to exercise an immediate rematch clause. While he's yet to officially make that call, he is expected to take part in a second fight. The rematch would happen in the fall.

Espinoza has been pushing pretty hard to get Joshua over to the United States.

"It feels like it's coming to a head," Espinoza told Sky Sports. "Eddie [Hearn] is much closer to it at this point, but from my vantage point, I think a lot of the options have been explored and dismissed, and I think a decision is forthcoming pretty quickly."

"It's no secret we've been salivating about getting him over here and certainly that would be a phenomenal fight. It would be the biggest heavyweight Vegas fight in probably a couple of decades, so we would love to host it.

"That's a massive mega-fight wherever it is. For my money, the fight of the year so far. It was a star-making performance and for many here in the US, it was their introduction to Anthony Joshua. It is beginning to whet their appetite for seeing more."
