Veteran's Coliseum, Jacksonville, Florida - In a crossroads middleweight showdown, former world champion Sergio Mora (23-3-2, 7KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Grzegorz Proksa (29-2, 21KOs) in an ESPN2 televised main event. The scores were 96-94, 96-94 and 98-92. Mora used his boxing skills, calculated punches and defensive abilities to outbox Proksa for most of the contest.

In a junior middleweight contest, Patrick Teixeira (19-0, 17KOs) won a ten round unanimous decision over Marcus Willis (13-2-2, 3KOs). The scores were 98-92, 96-94 and 97-93 A cut opened over the left eye of Teixeira around round four. In the seventh, Teixeira had Willis ready to go but couldn't finish him off. Teixeira was stronger and landed the harder punches, but Willis had a few moments of his own.
