Due to some personal issues, trainer Gabriel Sarmiento (46-2, 25KOs) is unable to work the corner of Sergio Martinez this coming Saturday at Foxwoods Resort & Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut. Martinez faces unbeaten WBO junior middleweight champion Sergiy Dzinziruk (37-0, 23KOs) for the vacant WBC Diamond belt at 160-pounds. According to Martinez's adviser, Sampson Lewkowicz, Gabriel's brother, Pablo Sarmiento, will take over the head trainer duties in the corner on Saturday night.

"Everything is under control. There won't be any problems. Gabriel and his brother come from the same school. His brother was part of the entire training camp [as an assistant trainer] and everything will be fine," Lewkowicz told BoxingScene.com.
