Seniesa Estrada (22-0) will make her Top Rank debut Saturday night at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada against Jazmin Villarino (6-1-2).  The bout will serve as the ESPN televised co-feature underneath the Zhanibek Alimkhanuly-Denzel Bentley main event.

The 30-year-old Southern California hasn't fought since she stopped Maria Santizo in San Antonio last December and said that she can't wait to get back in the ring.

"It feels great to finally fight. It has been 11 months, over 300 days. This whole year for me has been really frustrating and gone by slowly. I have just wanted to be back in the ring and just wanted to fight. I felt like I was missing out. I wanted to unify and be undisputed and show that I am the best in the weight divisions that I fight in," Estrada told BoxingScene.com.

2022 has been a banner year for women's boxing with high profile fights like Katie Taylor-Amanda Serrano, Claressa Shields-Savannah Marshall and Alycia Baumgardner-Mikael Marshall haven taken place in front of huge crowds. Each of the aforementioned fights also delivered entertainment value in the ring.

At first Estrada felt like she was missing out but now feels like she has a great opportunity to set up her own unification opportunities to continue to help grow the sport.

"Fast forward to now - to be able to end a great year for women's boxing - I feel like I didn't miss anything. During the time I was off, women's boxing kept growing and received more exposure. Now I am continuing on a new platform with a new promoter," said Estrada.

"The matchups are great. They are exciting. The best are fighting the best. That is because we have to do that. Not only for us to try to get big money but we also want to make these great matchups. We are still far off from what the men are making but we are trying to change that. I think women's boxing is more popular now because more promoters are giving winning the opportunity to be signed and fight on big platforms."
