Seniesa Estrada soaked in the ambiance for the weigh-in ahead of her first headlining act.

Making weight was the easy part for the unbeaten WBC and WBA strawweight champion, who was a fighting fit 104.4 pounds for her upcoming title defense. Estrada meets former IBF flyweight titleholder Leonela Paola Yudica, who was a career lightest 103.7 pounds.

Their scheduled ten-round title fight airs live on ESPN+ this Friday from The Palms in Las Vegas.

Estrada (24-0, 9KOs) will attempt her fourth overall title defense and first as a unified champ. The 30-year-old East Los Angeles native won the WBA title in a March 2021 ten-round shutout of Anabel Ortiz. She has since added the WBC title after winning every round of her unification bout versus unbeaten Tina Rupprecht on March 25 in Fresno, California.

Argentina's Yudica (19-1-3, 1KOs) saw her eight-year IBF flyweight title reign come to a close in a ten-round defeat to Monterrey’s Arely Mucino last October 29 in San Diego, California. She rebounded with a ten-round, split decision victory over countryman Tamara Demarco on April 29 in Los Polvorinos, Argentina.

The co-feature has proven contentious throughout fight week.

Both fighters ultimately did their job at the scales, although Andres Cortes (19-0, 10KOs) needed two tries to make the 130-pound limit. The Las Vegas native had to strip down to come in at the junior lightweight limit, after fat shaming Xavier Martinez for blowing weight in his previously scheduled outing.

Sacramento’s Martinez (18-1, 12KOs) was under the limit at 129.7 pounds and laughed off Cortes’ taunts during their face-off prior to Friday’s scheduled ten-round bout.
