Mexicali, BC. - WBO junior flyweight champion Giovani Segura will look to knock Ivan Calderon out as quickly as possible. Last August in Puerto Rico, Segura knocked Calderon out in eight rounds. It was the first defeat of Calderon's long career. The rematch is shifting to Segura's native soil, but the Mexican champion won't allow the local advantage to make himself feel more comfortable. Calderon has vowed to display a different look and strategy. Segura expects the same Calderon.

"I've watched Calderón fight live and I've also watched many videos of his fights. The plan is to cut off the ring and and then beat on him before he runs of gets a chance to hug you. In the first fight he never got a chance to hit and run. They say he can't hit, but that's not true. I felt a few of his punches, and he does have heavy hands. Calderon is not going to change for this fight. He will basis his strategy around speed, but I'll fight the same, and once again from the beginning of the fight I'm going for the knockout," Segura said.
