Hamburg, Germany - Heavyweight prospect Peter Kadiru (7-0) won the WBC Youth title stopped in the sixth against overmatched Czech Tomas Salek (11-2)  in one of the headliners at the Edel-Optics Arena on a SES and  EC Boxing promotion.

Kadiru is managed by Bernd Boente, who is best known for guiding the Klitschko brothers, and he is promoted by SES.

Welterweight Sebastian Formella (22-0) retained the IBO world title with a twelve round unanimous decision over Nicaraguan Roberto Arrizaga (18-2). It was scored 116-112, 117-111 and 118-110.

In other action, heavyweight Ali Eren Demirezen (12-1)  outscored Belarus Andrei Mazanik (13-10) over eight and veteran cruiser (and heavyweight) veteran Nuri Seferi (41-9)  stopped Mazen Gierke in the fifth. Gierke (15-108-6) has spent most of his career competing at a lot lighter weights.

Cruiser Roman Fress (7-0) won the vacant German Int´l title (BDB version) with a unanimous decision over Italian Matteo Rondena (9-5) in ten rounder. It was scored 96-94, 99-92 and 98-93. Fress is trained by former WBO super middleweight king Robert Stieglitz.
