Sources in Las Vegas have advised BoxingScene.com that a deal is nearly complete for a late June rematch between British middleweight rivals Billy Joe Saunders (21-0, 11KOs) and Chris Eubank Jr. (19-1, 14KOs).

They fought last November, with Saunders winning a razor close twelve round split decision. Saunders has yet to fight again, but Eubank bounced back in February with a twelfth round knockout of previously unbeaten Dmitry Chudinov to capture the interim-WBA middleweight title.

The two fighters were scheduled to appear in separate fights on Saturday night, and they were pulled as the rematch drew closer.

Eubank, who is currently training in Las Vegas, has already signed a contract to face Saunders in the rematch. Saunders, who is on board with the match, is said to be signing shortly.

Promoter Frank Warren is said to be in the process of securing a soccer stadium for late June. No date or venue has been finalized as of yet.
