Malmoe, Sweden - WBA Intercontinental champ at super flyweight, Linn Sandstrom (7-2-2), retained her title with a technical draw against Venezuelan challenger Jovana Zuniga (16-5-1).

The fight had to be stopped in the second round when both ladies suffered bad cuts after an accidental clash of heads. It was a disappointing end to what had been a good show put on by former WBO middle champ Armand Krajnc.

Sandstrom hails from Sweden but is now an Australian citizen and lives in Sydney.

In the co-feature Swedish cruiserweight champ Samo Jangirov (9-4-3) retained the title with a hard fought draw against Goran Babic (7-1-1) in a tough fight that went back and forth.

Babic made a good start while Jangirov came on strong at the end. It was scored 78-75 Babic, 76-76 and 77-75 for Jangirov.

Light heavyweight prospect Costas Nanga, now 9-0, stopped Pole Michal Loniewsky (4-4). The Pole was hurt and almost floored late in the first and didn't come out for the second. Nanga is ready for bigger fights.

Anthony Yigit, 27-3-1, enjoyed a good workout from Jacob Quinn (6-3) in a four rounder made at welterweight. Yigit was last seen getting stopped by Keyshawn Davis but is now ready again for bigger fights.

In his last appearance in a Swedish ring, he beat Spaniard Sandor Martin to retain the EBU super lightweight title.
