All participants did their part to move forward with a card featuring five boxers making their pro debut and the evening’s headliners both in search of redemption.

Saul Sanchez and Daniel Lozano collide in a 10-round regional junior featherweight title fight which tops a four-bout show taking place behind closed doors at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee, Florida (Friday, Telemundo, 12:00 a.m. ET). Sanchez and Lozano each weighed 121.8 pounds, comfortably inside the 122-pound divisional limit.

The event marks the first Telemundo-televised appearance for Sanchez (13-1, 7KOs), who also makes his East Coast debut. The 23-year old prospect has fought exclusively in his home state of California.

Sanchez fought this past February, scoring an eight-round win over Victor Trejo to rebound from his lone career defeat in a 10-round split decision to Edwin Rodriguez last August.

Lozano (15-9-1, 11KOs) is a familiar face on the Telemundo circuit, including an appearance in the summer season debut this past August. The squat 30-year old journeyman from Bowling Green, Florida held unbeaten Jorge De Jesus Romero to an eight-round draw, thus halting a five-fight losing streak. He still remains without a win since an October 2017 Telemundo-televised points victory over Ricardo Rodriguez in Tampa.

Among the three undercard bouts, Harry ‘Dragon Fly’ Cruz (2-1, 0KOs) is the only boxer with pro experience—all of which has come in the 2020 calendar year. The 23-year old Puerto Rican weighed 151 pounds for a four-round junior middleweight clash with fellow Boricua rookie John Carrion, who weighed 152 pounds for his pro debut.

Cruz turned pro this past February on the 2020 Boxeo Telemundo season premiere, with Friday marking his fourth straight bout in state. Most recently, Cruz scored a four-round decision over Cade Howell this past August in Dayton Beach.

Austin-based Floyd Schofield checked in at 132 pounds for his clash with Albuquerque’s Richard Esquibel, who came in at 129 pounds for their four-round junior lightweight battle between pro debutants.

Alexander Mancil tipped the scale at 121 pounds, while Anaheim’s Pedro Salome weighed 124 pounds as both boxers make their respective pro debuts in a four-round junior featherweight contest.
