The first ever professional boxing show in Lahti, Finland was arranged back in spring 2007. Now over than a decade later professional boxing makes a comeback to Lahti, this time for a bigger arena, while Loud´N Live Promotions Ltd will promote a high level boxing show with hometown hero Sami "Boom Boom" Enbom (17-1, 10 KO) fighting in the main event.

Enbom, 30, made a successful amateur career in the Lahden Kaleva-team. As an amateur he won -91kg national and Nordic championships on 2011. On May 2012 he made professional debut and step by step he rose near the elite level of Finnish male professional boxers. In years 2015-2016 Enbom came known as an undercard fighter to shows headlined by Robert Helenius. Enbom also visited international sparring camps to help high level European boxers to prepare their title fights.

At this moment Enbom is ranked at #63 in BoxRec.com in his weight category (total 1112 male boxers in the division, situation on 12.3.2018) and he is the third highest Finnish boxer right after Edis Tatli and Robert Helenius.

On May 26, 2018 Enbom gets his big chance for glory while Loud´N Live Promotions, who a couple of years promoted the comebacking Robert Helenius to European champion in heavyweight division, starts same kind of project with Enbom as they had with Helenius. The project is called as towards the world title (in Finnish "Kohti maailmanmestaruutta"). The fight on May will not be " a walk in the park" for Enbom while he faces tough Hungarian Tamas Lodi (18-10-2, 15 KO), who has sweet memories from Finland due to of KO victories over Juho Haapoja and Janne Forsman and also he scored a knockdown when fought draw against Jarno Rosberg.

While fighting for the WBO European title it will also be for a position in the WBO world rankings.

-This is the chance of my life and fulfillment of my dreams to fight on my hometown. Lodi has long reach and he is a power puncher who has scored his best victories here in Finland. He is also having 3 months training session for this fight so for sure he will be ready and hungry for success, but so do also I. I know that there are big stakes on this bout and I´m going to be on best shape of my career on this fight and I´m going to be the first Finnish boxer to knock Lodi out and it will be an honour to rise the WBO European title belt after that on air, promises Sami "Boom Boom" Enbom.

-It was very important for this show but also for whole Finnish professional boxing society that Loud´N Live Promotions decided to join forces with team Enbom to promote this show. Im sure that this will be such high class professional boxing show that we have not yet seen like this in Finland this year. On the main event Sami Enbom has tough fight in front of his home town audience and there is always tension in air when Lodi fights against some Finnish boxer. This is clearly the first step for Enbom towards his dream to a the world title bout. In addition to the main event there will be a couple of other "candies" for boxing fans and those match-ups will be published during March-April promises matchmaker Markus Lammi.
