Dmitriy Salita, the promoter for heavyweight contender Otto Wallin, says his boxer would love to secure a rematch with Tyson Fury.

Two weeks back, Wallin appeared to be on the verge of a stunning upset when he opened up a severe cut above the right eye of Fury, when they fought at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Wallin opened up another cut in the second half of the fight and also managed to stun Fury in the final round.

It was a bloody bout, but the contest was allowed to play out for the entire twelve rounds and Fury walked away with a deserved unanimous decision victory.

Wallin received a lot of respect in the aftermath, as many critics expected him to get blown out in the early rounds of the fight.

Saliat believes his man would win the rematch.

"Otto would be much better in the rematch. He is going to get busy and now he is comfortable with Fury's style. I strongly believe Otto wins the rematch," Salita said.

And Salita agrees with Eddie Hearn, who felt Fury received some star treatment from the officials, who allowed the contest to continue with a very bad cut for nearly the entire duration.

There were many observers, including Hearn and Salita, who believe the contest would have been stopped had it taken place anywhere else in the world - or if the fighter with the cut had not been Fury.

"I think it could have been a draw, at most 7-5 Tyson," Salita said. "Fury is a great fighter who has tons of heart. He was very skilled and courageous in how he dealt with such adversity. But had it been anyone else, I feel the fight would be stopped."
