Out of everyone who will be attending this weekend's card at the Fantasy Springs Casino in Indio, California  - where an HBO doubleheader takes place featuring a pair of super featherweight contests between Francisco Vargas and Miguel Berchelt and Takashi Miura who takes on Miguel Roman - there is no more of an interested observer than Orlando Salido, who battled with Vargas back in June in what is considered one of the better fights of recent years.

Salido (43-13-4, 30 KOs), a former two division world champion, will be ringside on Saturday night.

And if it were up to him, he would be facing Vargas again.

"That's what I want, I think that's the fight everybody wants to see, the fans, the media. It was a draw, lets finish our business," said Salido earlier this week from  Mexico through publicist Ricardo Jimenez.

On the night of June 4th at the StubHub Center in Carson, California, Vargas and Salido fought at an unrelenting pace for twelve rounds with Vargas - who came in as the defending WBC 130-pound champion - retaining his title with the draw.

Salido was scheduled to return to the ring last month against Miura, but a training injury caused that fight to fall through. Then he was negotiating a potential rematch with Vasyl Lomachenko for a date in March, but that fell out when the two sides were unable to reach an agreement on the financial terms.

Above everything else, the fight Salido wants most is the rematch with Vargas.

And Salido sent a message for 'El Bandido' Vargas - "We have unfinished business, we had a great fight, I think the people want to see it again. The media wants to see it again, I think everyone wants to see it again and I think we'll make another great fight and give the fans what they want.''
