After what was a hellacious twelve round affair on Saturday night from the StubHub Center in Carson, California, Zanfer Promotions and Orlando Salido who had to settle for a draw versus WBC 130-pound belt-holder, Francisco Vargas, are more than willing to do it again.

"The fight screams rematch, how could it not?,' 'said Sean Gibbons, who works with Salido and Zanfer. "It did the largest gate ever for Golden Boy Promotions at the StubHub. There were over 7,300 people at the fight, the fight itself lived up to the hype. This wasn't a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight, this fight from day one was listed as a 'fight of the year' candidate and lived up to it and more.

"So to me, it's a no-brainer, how can you not (have a rematch)? I see a fight like this, you take it up to another level. Take it to the L.A. Forum, two great Mexican warriors in that house would be tremendous."

But what if Vargas and Golden Boy Promotions have other plans for the time being?

Gibbons states - "Personally, I think Vargas might be out the rest of the year, he got 15 stitches on one eye, 20 in the other. So Orlando's ready for something in November. We would love to entertain - and you want to talk about two 'fight of the years' in one year - bring Takashi Miura, bring anybody that wants to stand and fight."

"God bless Vasyl Lomachenko, who I love as a person but those aren't 'fight of the years'. Those are interesting fights and Salido has a style to make them fun but you know when you buy a ticket to Salido-Miura, Vargas-Salido, my goodness, you know what you're getting."

Regardless of who might be available, Gibbons makes it clear,"We're going to do something in November."
