Nery Saguilan looks to pick up his eight straight win as he takes on veteran DeMarcus Corley in a scheduled 12-round regional title fight Saturday evening in Juarez, Mexico.

Both fighters easily made weight for the super lightweight crossroads clash. Saguilan tipped the scales at 137.1 lbs., his lightest weight in nearly a year. The always supremely conditioned Corley came in at 137.8 lbs.

Saguilan (33-4-1, 12KOs) has managed to turn around his career after a rough stretch where he endured three losses in the span of five fights. His current seven-fight win streak hasn't been without its share of controversy, however.

The masked marvel was well over weight for his 10-round points win over Marcos Villasana, Jr. this past March. He rebounded—in terms of discipline—with a 2nd round knockout of Wilfrido Buelvas this past May.

Corley (42-23-1, 25KOs) is a long way removed from his time spent as a 140 lb. titlist more than a decade ago, but the D.C. native is still attempting to fight the good fight. The 41-year old southpaw is well-traveled—having lodged pro bouts in 11 countries spanning four continents—yet amazingly fights in Mexico for the first time in his 19-year pro career.

Also on the show:

The show airs live on Televisa in Mexico.
